And to think it only took 3 mere rounds to bust up Vitali's face.

Vitali was on the way to lose this fight. Stoppage style. NO way he could've made it 12 rounds

yeah, great stuff. Vitali pounding Lewis and sending him into retirement - starting Klitschko era.

No shame in getting retired a little early by a Klitschko.

Even Kbro fans know Vitali was on his way to getting knocked the **** out.
The biggest proof of that is

over the years the crying has gone from

    initially

CHEAP STOPPAGE, BAD STOPPAGE to later on-- oh good stoppage but Lewis duck rematch to now

---Should have been a TD Win for Klithscko.. The excuses change over the years as even the most hard core of Kbro fans know that if the fight had gone on., Vitali gets koed.

Did Lewis avoid rematch? Probably, but he was old, he did avoid the rematch.

But to say Vitali could have gone on to win the fight you are in moron land.

Liakhovich/Brewster was an exciting slugfest, Tua/Ibeabuchi was both great slugging and boxing, but Klitschko/Lewis was iconic, having fans vehemently debating it years afterward. Whatever one felt about it, it begged a rematch; it was unfinished business, and legions are still decrying that it didn't happen.
