Much like Randall "Tex" Cobb, Art Aragon and Max Baer were colorful individuals and great quipsters.

Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom, for the fact that , as his ring name implies, he slapped a lot, never hurt and opponent, and was a funny guy in the movies that he made.

Wilfred Benitez in his younger days found boxing so easy that he used to take shortcuts in his training and seemingly just go through the motions but as soon as a pretty girl walked into the gym he would suddenly train like a madman to impress them. Lol.

I've mentioned this guy before, but you should look up Ray "Windmill" White a fringe MW/LHW contender from the Pacific NW in the latter 60's, early seventies. He pretended to be hurt long before Ali and his nickname largely comes from getting opponents in clinches (with one arm holding his opponent's head under his armpit and behind the back shots to his opponents head.) He sounds dirty but it was more of a show from this guy. We saw him two or three times back in the day and he always cracked us up laughing win or lose.

Duran supposedly knocking out a horse is a pretty interesting story add that to this SRL antics in their first two fights and considering he captivated a whole country he deserves at least a mention.

Jack Johnson definitely deserves a mention:
Jack loved fast cars, when he was pulled over for a $50 speeding ticket , he gave the officer a $100 bill; when the officer protested that he couldn't make change for that much, Johnson told him to keep the change, as he was going to make his return trip at the same speed.[
