Hasewaga will make his 10th WBC bantamweight title defense against Alfaro Perez this satuday.

This Perez guy is a hard hitting Nicaraguan which could make the fight very interesting, dont know much about him but if someone can put some hindsight about him its very much appreciated.

My skepticism at the thread title was through the roof before seeing who you were talking about, as with any instance of such a bold statement, but it's actually not that outrageous a claim. :good

You can tell that this thread has proven itself true by noticing the ratio of people that have viewed as to the number of people who have replied.

This is another proof of the stigma of being a homeboy.

Chris John already ventured to US and gained more respect in his win over Juarez than his previous fights put together.

We can't blame them as there is enough money for them, but legacy-wise, why not be a road warrior.

Timothy Bradley was the headliner on Showtime's fight card Saturday night but, in my book, is still very underrated. he looked great against Peterson and deserves more recognition than he receives.

I didn't even know that much about Perez. It looks like he might be moving down in weight; I really don't like the disqualification and number of no contests from headbutts - hopefully, that's just from him (maybe) being a southpaw. Seems like a dangerous guy, though probably out of his depths against Hasewaga.

Hasegawa should be in the top 20 P4P rankings.

Top10 dude. Caballero, Donaire, Dawson, Calderon, Cotto, nuff said. They couldn't carry Hozumi's jockstrap.

Oh, yeah; forgot to ask. Is this going to be shown live at all in the US?
