    1. Manny Pacquiao
    2. Wladimir Klitschko
    3. Vitali Klitschko
    4. Floyd Mayweather
    5. Arthur Abraham

Anyone agree/disagree with the list? Pacquiao is an obvious choice at number one. There's little debate, really. The Klitschko's are enormous in Germany, Ukraine and Russia, sell out massive stadiums quickly, get millions of TV viewers and have crossed the barrier into the mainstream, just like Pacquiao.

After that, it gets close and there's people like Khan, Hatton and Haye from Britain, Bute etc. but I went with Mayweather. If Hatton was properly active, it would be him but it seems unfair to put him on the list. Mayweather has made steady progress into the mainstream but it's unclear how well he would do, against a no-name fighter. After that, I think Abraham is a good shout, because of his popularity in Armenia and obviously Germany.

what do you base your list on? PPVs obviously isn't it if you have Mayweather at 4.

I wouldn't mind knowing what that list was based on also because you're sure right it wasn't PPV's.

It also isnt popularity either because Mayweather/Klits have many many haters.

It's very debatable, with the number one spot most likely being Floyd, followed closely by Pacquaio.

    Who cares?

I am more concerned with the most entertaining boxers, which is clearly pacquiao in the lead.

Just a question. Do you like any technical highly skilled boxers?

When was the last time a serious fight was fought in the Ukraine? And how do you even know anyone in Armenia gives a rat's ass about Abraham?

Also, Adamek will have a serious chance of making that list, at least in terms of ticket sales. if Adamek fights at MSG or Jersey with just about anyone, its a guaranteed sell out.

Lastly, Bute always sells out the Bell Center.

I think Floyd would be able to sell or get close to selling out Wembley in the UK.

I disagree.. he couldn't even sell out the MGM Grand, there were loads of seats unfilled on May 1st and lots people queuing to sell tickets before the fight.

Hatton was a huge draw, the fact he could get 35k people to fly 8k miles to watch him and sell 1.4 million PPVs at home for a fight at 4am says a lot.

PBF is merely an average seller, even with all the marketing money thrown at his promotions.

There are many boxers out there who sell more with less hype behind them.

are you saying that manny isn't technical skilled? i mean, duran didn't drop his hands and circle the ring like leonard did, but he certainly was technically skilled. in a sport where having a brawling style isn't an advantage, being able to take the fight to a pure boxer and pressure him, like duran-leonard i, is a huge technical accomplishment.
