Boxnation HD is nearly here

    ....according to an article over on the scene. The Allegedly bill in February will be the first one shown in HD. More details to follow at the beginning of the year.

    Great news if true and surely a sign that the channel must be doing ok??

    Great news, we need Boxnation to survive if only to force Sky to keep showing the rest of the big fights.

    About bloody time. The picture quality just now is horrendous compared to a Sky HD channel.

    Why would that be the case? They are a completely different company and use a different payment system.

    Yep,

    Credit where its due, I always imagined they would bump it up to £12 or even £15 bucks when they went HD.

    The competition between BN and Sky is just lovely for us fans.

    think its because the bandwidth is low (saving them money) - itv1 on freeview is around the level of internet streams circa 2008. bt sport have a pretty good SD bandwidth on sky, so their picture quality is very good
