Boxnation on Virgin Media - Any News?

Will be up for the subscription period.

 

Subscription starts 1st December :good

 

I'm just waiting for any details on the online component.

 

Originally they said you could subscribe online but pay a supplement per show.

 

so if you have to pay the subscription as well as paying suplements for shows what exactly is the subscription covering?

 

I remembered it being that TV subscribers could pay a supplement for additional online access. Online-only users should pay the same as the basic subscription.

 

Ah OK.

 

However, going on the basis that we’ve heard very little so far, that could all be nonsense. It’s a bit of a shame – if they sent a rep on here they would do a real service to themselves.

 

I doubt anyone wanted to do it considering the abuse Venus gets

 

I've tried sending messages on twitter to @boxnation but they have been ignored completely.

I welcome anyone willing to join my rather fruitless cause.

 

I tweeted them yesterday and they replied saying they would let me know asap, they are still ironing out an exact date.

 

Why would anyone pay £120 a year for a channel that isn't even HD? Can anyone say they currently pay that much in PPVs?

Update for Virgin customers:

"The information page on the BN website was updated last week with the following info:

"Sky customers will soon be able to subscribe and pay for the channel through this site, while Virgin Media customers should contact Virgin directly (we expect to be live on Virgin Media cable within two weeks)."

I post over at Cable Forum where Media Boy has confirmed that Virgin will be making an official announcement about BN real soon. Expect BN to be on Virgin Media on either the 30th of November / 01st of December just in time for Cotto Vs. Margarito II.

I have no idea whether Virgin customers will get the channel free for 2 months or not."
