I get both sides of the argument that was going on, but the question wasn't clear.

BoxNation is better for Live Boxing. Purley because they show more fights, as they should. Other than that Sky Sports is better. I like other sports and some more than Boxing. Production etc etc.

In terms of Boxing both could improve. I wouldn't have any issue with BoxNations lack of domestic action if it didn't mean 20-25 fighters careers massivley stagnated and suffered. They should just stick to International cards and up the production level.

I think Boxing in the UK would be better if there were less promoters and only 1 TV channel showing domestic Boxing and I think Boxing would be better of without Frank.

Boxnation is only a pint of beer each week, Sky is too expensive.

They should introduce a Sky combat channel, Boxing, WWE, Stoke and West Ham games

I like boxing so both depending on the card.that simple, don't really want to pick sides but Hearn is a likeable guy who seems to genuinely wants to improve uk boxing. Frank is an old warhorse though and this may just be the kick up the arse he needed in terms of promoting

Got to be SKY. Especially considering:

I only want to want British fighters.
I want to pay an extra 14.95/17.95 to see one of the best British boxers.
I like shows with fancy lighting.
I only want to hear John McDonald MC.
I have no interest in seeing Floyd Mayweather, Sergio Martinez and Britain's two most successful (active) and most well known fighters David Haye and Amir Khan.
    I love Prizefighter.
    Adam Smith > Bunce.
I refuse to put money in that con artist's pocket. You know the one who has put on the biggest shows in Britain for the last however many years.
    I like Eddie Hearn's suits.

Dear Sir, I have the princely sum of 2 million dollars in a bank account here in Nigeria. The only problem is that I need to transfer it to your account first to access it. For this duty I will pay you 20% of the monies.

Please can you provide me your bank account and passport details and I look forward to doing business with you.

    Kind regards,

    Joseph I. Conyoo

  8. I think the point is for me that as it stands with
Both we have good shows weekly international(love them)boxnation and 20 a year domestic sky(love them)

They are going hand in hand, the fact they are
Competitive should improve the quality I just worry if one goes what happens then

    We need both

Boxing vs Boxing, obviously Sky kills boxnation for production quality, build up and all the bells and whistles. However Boxnation obviously provides greater depth and variation of live shows. Sky will have to assess whether it is beneficial just broadcasting for 1 promoter.

    :rofl

Boxing: Boxnation, they show pretty much everything
Production: skysports and yes whil the lights music and little clips add a little entertainment if it dissappeared I wouldn't really care.
Presenters: Has to be Boxnation, Bunce is legendary and I like to pretend as the night goes on he gets more and more drunk.
Domestic boxing: Skysports as Hearn has most of the best domestic talent.

The both have pros and cons, I do watch skysports more overall but boxnations wins hands down on the boxing front.

Boxnation has more boxing and all the international fights that we wouldn't see, sky sports has the better uk shows with fights that actually may have a shock and with very good undercards. They are VERY different, but I look forward more to a sky show than a boxnation one (more so with the red button undercards)

Neither, both are destroying this sport in this country by monopolizing the sport and centralizing everything the sport has to offer on just 2 channels. I remember the glory days, when everybody was talking boxing and the fight last night on national TV. People who didnt even like the sport, watched the big fights.

Whilst I don't like PPV, I don't mind depending on the quality of the fight and the card, however, very few fights in my eyes are PPV worthy. Therefore most fights should be on national TV using some of that billions and billions the BBC get every year from the license payer. If on the odd occasion it is a mega fight, then stick it on PPV. By all means.

But the big domestic fights should always be on national TV if you ask me.

There is no need for Sly and Boxnation to control everything. Nearly every single sport has ended up on Sly. OK Boxnation is a boxing channel, but it is still doing its best to take the sport from national TV and make you pay for average fights.

Of the two, Boxnation is by far and away better for boxing, as its the main focus. I also rate Boxnations coverage when it comes to boxing, and they try to be down the line. Whereas Sly Sports is the most bias one sided brainwash PR bull**** every single fight, **** presenters, **** commentators, **** pundits.

And I don't like being told to practically love a fighter....or else. They ram it down your neck with all the PR, graphics and special effects. You must LOVE this fighter!!! He is YOUR fighter!!! :patsch

I'll make that decision. Thanks. :good

Blame terrestrial TV for not showing boxing, not Sky and BN. All these international fights that BoxNation are showing now have been up for grabs for a UK TV channel to buy for years, none has shown any interest whatsoever.

Might as well blame Frank for that too. That *******, getting his fighters more money and securing them for life.
