Just had an email from BoxNation, apparently they have now scrapped the 3 month tie in period. I wonder how many recent subscribers are thinking about now cancelling following the Groves / Clev cancellations? Suppose there is always the Floyd fight to hold on for?

I've already sent them a 1000 word email expressing my disappointment at the cancellation of Clevelry/Krasniqi. Looks like they listened.

I have no problems with box nation to be fair. although i watch all levels of boxing and unknown names or up and coming prospects. Cant be helped at the end of the day if fighters pull out.

    Lets see what happens!

Judging from the complaints when it was announced, anyone who says they are disappointed with Cleverly-Krasniqi getting cancelled is probably bullshitting.

Its a good move by Boxnation, they should get a fair few extra subscribers now.

I can't believe the minimum term put anyone off. It certainly shouldn't have been a deal breaker.

I must admit the original 6 month term put me off. I subscribed just for the Chisora v Klitschko fight just after they changed it to a 3 month term. Was pissed off when I heard they ended up screening it 'Freeview' due to subscription problems on the day, and is it true that most fights are screened free a day or two later??!

Now you can unsubscribe if there are any drought periods of poor/no action. It's certainly a better deal. One of my concerns with the previous model was that they would rake in subscribers with a big event and then hang them out to dry with 3/4 months of poor cards.

I can vote with my feet if the upcoming events aren't worth it to me. More power to the consumer.

Ha Ha, cheeky ****ers, just checked my PayWizard account out of curiosity to see when my next payment was due, and saw that my 3rd monthly payment was taken out yesterday. I wonder if they intentionally waited until today to inform me that I was no longer tied into a 3 month contract...???!!!!

Might have something to do with the fact that plenty of casuals may want to subscribe for the Mayweather v Cotto fight alone and would have been put off by the 3 month subscription.

Given BN probably shelled a fair bit of wedge out to get the rights, a few thousand extra people just paying the 10pounds for the one month subscription is probably better than nothing.
