Where I drink, it's £2.00 for Carling, £1.90 for Fosters, £1.90 for Smooth and £2.10 for Bow.

I've written a strongly worded e-mail, threatening legal action, unless they reduce my bill to £7.99/month.

Utter, utter wankers with their false adverising.

That's cheap though. It's about £3 a pint anywhere near me. Cheapest I think relatively near is Carling for £2.10. Pint of Stowford press cider cost £3.25 in my local :-(

    Yeah, £2.10 is good.

It's £2.60 everywhere else around us.

A pint of tennents is £3 - 3.20 round my way, stella is 3.20-3.50. anyway, it is obvious they are doing this for bthe casuals. I know at least a few people who would sign up just to see mayweather, or even Burns - Mithell, but wouldnt likely be thrilled with any of the german cards.

    100% true. That's £20 a month they're missing out on right there!

How much is a pint down your local?

I had an argument with my uncle on Saturday night, he's a publican. He told me that he would rather pay X amount for Sky Sports, which is a few hundred quid a month from what I can gather, than pay just £10 a month for BoxNation.

He's an arrogant, pig-headed man like myself and would not budge. I cannot see the logic in this at all.
