yes, 100% they should be looking to put something on. frank promised a domestic and international card per week. the least he can do is 1 card per week if things go wrong. there is always some good international boxing. i would even be happy if they bought a re-run of a really good fight which happened that they maybe didn't air but gives us the chance to see some good boxing.

the golovkin card is a decent shout. golovkin is slowly becoming a figure at 160 and the card has 2 or 3 undefeated prospects on it.

 

Only Mrs Colin has that power.

Only one day left before World Boxing Association (WBA) World Middleweight Champion Gennady Golovkin will defend his title against Lajuan Simon. Today the two fighters stepped on the scale:


Gennady Golovkin: 71.9 kg (158.5 lbs)

Lajuan Simon: 71.0 kg (156.5 lbs)

Today the IBO announced that the bout will also be for the vacant IBO world middleweight title.

Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions: “Both fighters are in great shape and this should be an exciting championship fight. We are happy to have been able to save these two title fights from the cancelled Klitschko vs. Mormeck show. I am sure it is going to be a unique event and a very special atmosphere for the boxing fans.”

The co-feature of this K2 Promotions event will be Isa Akberbayev vs Armin Dollinger. Akberbayev weighed in at 89.5 kg (197.3 lbs), Dollinger will step on the scale tomorrow morning.
