    The last Boxnation is an example of one of the worst mismatched events I have ever witnessed.

    What's with matching 12-0 and 6-0 fighters with 9-27 and 7-51 opponents?
    Do you Brits actually like these bouts?
    If I were ya'll I'd get on my knees and pray for Haymon to get started with the UK PBC.

    I agree! Who do these Brits think they are.

    Let's comapre the next scheduled PBC fight night.

    Main event: Danny Garcia v Sammy Vargas (none title). WHAT A FIGHT!!!!!!!! And I'm sure the undercard will be sensational, being thrown together at 3 weeks notice.

    On the same night, this what British viewers have to look forward too:

    Luis Ortiz v Malik Scott, Jamie McDonnell v Libro Solis (for the world title), Martin Murray v Arthur Abraham and Jason Sosa v Stephen Smith (for the world title).

    PBC is making British Boxing look like amateur hour.

    I cancelled box nation after Fury pulled out again. Far too many fights have been cancelled to warrant paying £12 a month for it

    this thread is entertaining. Those opponents with a less than stellar records have to have fights too.
    The boxing gods can always pull for the upset.
    Imam vs Granados
    Ali vs Spinks
    Tyson vs Douglas
    Mayweather vs Burton/Augustus-even though he got the TKO it was a hard fought battle.

    What prefer mismatches, as opposed to the highly competitive Danny Garcia v Sammy Vargas?

    That Imam loss to Granados was pure fluke and never repeatable. Plus, Granados's record at the time was 16-4 rather than 4-16.
    None of the other bouts/opponents you've listed come close to the Brit bum bouts being mentioned.
    These guys aren't Emannuel Augustus who got such a bad record not because of his low skill level, but because he was robbed so often.

    Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against habitual loser boxers being given opportunities, but being a fan of the sport, I'd prefer to see a 2-79 boxer in with an opponent of similar skill level. That's why it's called COMPETITION.

    Sh×××ng on the Brits now for poor boxing shows its not accurate.
    But the north-american scene will pick up in Nov and will close the year in style. Too bad we wont see two of the most wanted in GGG/Canelo but happy we get to see B-Hop one last time and hopefully Crawford too

    Starting in Nov. we are in for some good treats as several good competitve matches are scheduled.
    I really don't care if Golovkin-Canelo happens or not. I don't see it as interesting as Kovalev-Ward or even Stiverne-Pedvetkin.
    GBP can let Golovkin-Canelo marinate as long as they want. Perhaps in the meantime Golovkin will actually fight a somebody to build interest in the Canelo fight. As it stands, I see it as even less of a fight than Thurman-Porter.

    matchroom has a great structure. regular shows on sky, that are paid for and the any decent fight is ppv. You then have sky sports news which is basically eddie hearns propagnada channel in the run up to ppv's, which is why even useless ppv's sell well, by the time the fight comes around the public are convinced its a must see fight. They make the maximum amount of money possible

    in comparision pbc seems to be all over the shop and has no sctructure
