I enjoyed it, I think Keys and Bunce make a good team and Im impressed with Enzo as a commentator.

There is no hidden agenda. The other poster is dealing in FACTS. All well and good you talking about success, etc...but why the **** do you think he's left Sky in the first place? Because he was doing so well?

 

No fan of Fwanks but his last business 'allegedly' wound up to avoid paying Calzaghe the money (£2m?) he owed him, and I doubt any company involved in boxing reports any real numbers.

My point still stands though...if he was doing so well at Sky, he wouldn't have jumped ship.

 

And thats what my worry with this was about. Sky would pick up the production bill but now Frank has to and I expct he will just go with a cheap style production to save money.

The best production for fight cards I have seen was from Pride FC in Japan. The production was just amazing and better than what the UFC do but Fuji TV was paying for all of it.

If Boxnation want to improve, I would add this:

- Proper analysis of the fights, I am sick of hearing about how much money is involved in such and such a fight, i.e. promoter speak, I want knowledgeable pundits breaking down a fight that we have just watched. I didnt hear any technical analysis of Degale, it was just cliche-ridden crap, that any casual fan could have said.

- Sky+ is ruining the international fights, I am not sitting up half the night to watch this, I want to record it and then watch it in the morning not knowing the result. But, the ****in Sky+keeps knocking off. If you cant sort this out with Sky then run a programme after the live boxing so that I can record that and hopefully it will ensure that my boxing is not cut off short.

- More microphones around the ring and on the referee. Listening to the action from the US card, you can clearly hear the thud of the punches and the refs instructions during the fight. I would love to see that brought in in the British cards, for example it would have been great to hear word-for-word Richie Davies bollocking in the first round of the Bellew-Cleverly fight etc.

Apart from that, the fights have been great and I love the face we are seeing live action from the under card, which was a perennial complaint about Sky coverage.
