    That's literally all there is.



    A rehash of a fight we've seen thrice between shopworn mid-thirty-somethings with a combined 725 rounds under their frayed belts.

    A women's title bout in among the weakest divisions in the sport for that gender, pitting Lucas Matthysse's journey-woman sister against the longtime champ who is only the longtime champ because Melissa Hernandez moved up in weight before they could have a rubber-match.

    An obscene mismatch.

    I saw that the other day when I was scanning for new matches to add to kirk's challenge, pretty sad....but you can probably add Cotto-Canelo before too long.

    I suppose Garcia-Malinaggi is a 4 star fight but we should see multiple fights being finalized in the next few weeks such as Cotto-Alvarez, Mayweather-?, GGG-? and many more by the end of the year.

    Boxrec randomly underrates certain great fighters.

    They rank Moreno outside their top 25 at Bantam when every other ranking I could find has Moreno at #3 (with Yamanaka a consensus #1).

    There is no such thing as Golovkin or Mayweather in a 5 star match. They're both too far ahead of the field in their weight classes.

    Also, i noticed B.oxRec gave Thurman-Collazo 3 stars prior to the fight and Harrison-Nelson was 5 stars. What's the deal with that?

    Over the years I have seen boxrec rank some 2-3 star match ups as 5 star match ups so this is kind of surprising either way (even if irrelevant).

    Sort of like how Fury vs. Wilder is a better match up than Fury vs. Klitschko despite Klitschko being infinitely better than Wilder.

    Match up, not combined rankings. I'm not saying that's how I do it but it is a logical approach if it were.
