Yeah i saw that and was slightly confused. I have no idea how they do there ratings, but putting him above Cunningham is silly! How many fights has he even had at cruiser? 4? Against not great opposition...unless you count a shot Bell! Odd to say the least!

 

He's also rated #15 P4P...Adamek is one of my favourite fighters, but frankly those ranks are too high

But with no doubt Adamek has the potential to be real #1 CW and top 15 p4p fighter

The site is only good for looking up fighters records.

 

Cunningham isnt crap at all. His a really smashing bloke too, but sentiment doesnt come into it. He has been abit inactive in the lsat year, dont think he even fought this year yet..but he is not crap, noway!

I wouldn't bother. I saw there new rankings the other day after the Hopkins-Pavlik fight, they were just awful.

Not sure what it's like now, but for instance they had Caballero #2 at super-bantam. That's ahead of guys like Marquez, Molitor and Lopez. He's definately behind the first two.

Adamek will limp back to LHW once he fights a top CW who doesn't have an Oliver McCall moment, like Bell did (I don't know where Bell's head was at during the Adamek fight, but it wasn't in the ring.) Dawson outclassed Adamek at LHW. Cunningham will ruin him.

 

Boxrec also moved Monte Barret up to #7, from #16, for no reason.

They've had Adamek as the #2 behind Cunningham for months, they must have "re-adjusted" their formula. Nobody cares about their ratings anyway.

 

Adamek cannot make 175 anymore, he drained himself badly enough for his last defence against Dawson.

I agree that the 200 lbs fighters will be a very big (literally) challenge for a natural LHW who likes going toe-to-toe. However I don't see anyone at 200 lbs (or under) "ruining" Adamek, he is a very good fighter.

That is because Adamek is very active while Cunningham is lazy.
Beating Bell and two other guys at CW is more than beating Huck in the same time.
