Hagler is a king, a proper boxer....Leonard is a cowardly *****, a runner that doesn't stand to trade punches like real men do.
    Hagler > Leonard.

Any list of this nature is a futile endeavour.

I could never come up with a P4P list to be honest.

Probably because the criteria for such lists are wholly arbitrary and entirely dependent on personal preferences.

It's really striking how few and lowly rated old world fighters are on this list.

Manny at 19 is the first then you don't see another until Kid Lewis at 28.

    @ Langford = 100

    @ Jofre 179

    Wilde 254

Holy shiz, 258 for Gans? I'm dead over here.

I am looking for Bob Fitzsimmons because IMO Bob is definitely a top 50 fighter from the old world and not seeing at all sent on a quest to find his rating. Above I saw some good ones but that kept happening so I stopped leaving a comment on it until I found Bob

Along the way I noticed Chris Eubank Jr is a few pages worth of ranks higher than Sr.

Fitzs? 618. 617 superior p4p fighters so says Boxrec.

That's just crazy talk. But then again I did not see Barbados Walcott or Panama Gans yet.

BoxRec can be good sometimes but often they have pretty silly rankings.

Not fond of this list myself. Just to point out a couple of quick ones, While I rank Floyd Mayweather higher than a lot of people do there’s no way he belongs in the top three. And having Hagler at #8 but Ray Leonard down at #39 ? Ezzard Charles at 22 is too low also.

They use an algorithm. It's not personal judgement.
