You look at who Chisora has fought and its not even close, Chisora:
    Vit Klit
    Prime Haye
    Fury x 2
    Pulev
Helanius (should have got the result)
Whyte x 2 (one of which was highly contestable)
    Kabayal
    Szpilka
    Takam
    Parker (highly contestable)
Usyk (gave him a tougher fight than AJ)
Many of which he run close or at least gave a good account of himself and then you have Ortizn't:
    Wilder x 2
    Jennings
    Dave Allen
Their resumes are miles apart, in fact, Ortizn't's resume is embarrassing given how hyped he's been.

Nah, that wasn't evident at all. The Pianeta fight looked like he'd completely lost his power and skills.

That was the fight before Wilder incidentally.

The people who use the term "cherry pick" when describing the World Champion Tyson Fury just sound like idiots.

Fury is the undefeated two-time World Heavyweight champion in his prime who is on everyone's pound-for-pound lists.

Fury was still the Ring Champion at the start of 2018 and he was only rated behind Joshua and Wilder (who had all the belts) when Fury and Wilder fought the first time.

Fury was rated above everyone else in the division when Wilder fought him both the second and third times.

    Everyone else.

    Wilder included.

To be fair, if you're including the likes of Szpilka for Chisora you might as well include Thompson, Scott and Hammer for Ortiz. His resume still pales in comparison, but it makes the comparison a bit more even handed.

EDIT: Actually I forgot Chisora KOed Scott as well. Err.

One more Err. is the fact that it was Tony Thompson's last fight and he was older than Ortizn't when they fought. I was also being a little bit facetious with that post purely due to the fact that Wilder fans would happily take one up the dirt box from Ortizn't if it meant elevating the cult status of The Bronze Bomber!

Boxrec have taken in to account the two brutal beatings Wilder has received in his last two contests with the Gypsy King and realise he's damaged goods and therefore has to move down the rankings. It's OK to say he only lost to Fury (who by the way was no champion in the first fight, but apparently was the world champion now lol) but the cherry pick of a blown up Fury with mental health issues backfired and we will only see him slide further down the rankings in future. Put a fork in him, 36 coming off two bad beatings, it's over. Whyte is prime age for a HW, next in line for a title shot and so rightly he's now ranked higher!

Fury was the Lineal Heavyweight Champion for the first Fury vs Wilder fight.
