Boxrec would have Ali/FrazierIV down if there was even a hint of it from an off the cuff remark by the Louisville Lip;)

I agree. Frank warren probably would as well, that's why the match will be made.
Khan seems to be developing a skill in stopping fighters with fast flurries without actually seriously hurting them, and Earl looks the ideal opponent for this tactic. As long as Earl remembers not to punch back, then Khan should prevail.

Khan is going to box his ears off. Earls only chance is intangiables but he has quite a few - heart, power, stamina etc

Perhaps like Lawton, Earl will strangely not fight back.

Earl is a gutsy fkker. But I suspect Khan will overwhelm him.

Earl has struggled with several guys slower than Khan, Vanzie. Smaller than Khan, Burns.

I think Earl is a genuine character and a good pro and I'm still undecided on Khan's ultimate horizons, but I suspect he will overwhelm him.

Khan v Thaxton is the fight that matters domestically for Khan.

Though I totally agree with you. I have considered the fact that Khan did not let them fight back. They could never got off and they had little opportunity. Many fights Khan has faced have been put into shells. Given, they aren't great but they are domestic class. Guys who have opened up, have found themself sparked. Lawton admitted he was never allowed into the fight and couldn't get off.

I can see Earl being totally neutralised as his ears are boxed off. Its very feasible.

Limond doesn't have Earls strength, power etc but Khan willingfully took the back foot so Limond can use his advantages in speed, skill etc Plus he may be a little bigger than Earl in terms of height and reach.

Sometimes a boxer can have more success going forward against another boxer than a brawler can have against that boxer.

Plus we have to remember Khan has lost VERY few rounds. A draw against Laszlo, an iffy kd v the Frenchman and 1 (max 2) v Limond. Khan is pretty much dominating.

There was an article on the fight and a picture of the two circulating some 6 weeks ago
