but I think there should be a p4p category for fighters like Oscar who have floated between weight classes throughout their careers.

friggin ridiculous. Hearns would KO oscar, Leonard wide UD maybe KO, Napoles by UD and Griffith could go either way but Griffith would get him in the rematch.

You have to remember as well ... Oscar was a front running - brawler type fighter with fast hands.

He was stiff ... had no rhythm and his he would bounce on his toes back and fourth - not side to side.

You can tell by his record that he wasn't going the distance much at all and he would fade late in fights ...

Guys by in the day were fighting 15 rounds ... and some unofficial - unsanctioned fights would go longer than that.

Oscar wouldn't be able to go the distance with Hearns or Leonard ... a strong wind would be able to tip him over in the 13-14th round

Boxerc said so.:smoke and because some Cuban guy agreed. Quite scientific, actually.

I wasn't alive but yes, Ray fought bums and I even have Patrick Charpentier ahead most of his challengers.

    The great Patrick Charpentier.

Boxrec factors in robbery wins at lower weights against shot fighters into its WW rankings.
