Boxrec is the most accurate tool for what fights are coming up. I remember a few years ago they had Joe Calzaghe v Allan Greene slated for the Millenium Stadium based a rumour.

AAAAAAAAMen. With all the possible matchups Margarito can make at 147, we get this? Goddam, is it any wonder boxing is going in the shitter?

He beat Yoel? I'm sorry but if they had met in Yoel's prime, this would likley be the outcome....

Anyway, I wouldn't give Margarito more than a 50% chance at a rematch with Cotto. In fact, I'd probably put my Money on cotto if they were to meet again.

Like I said, I think any of the top 10 welterweights could beat Margarito on any given night. He's hit-or-miss.

ZAB will give him a better fight than you guys may think. Some may see this a ducking, but I, THE OFFICIAL MARGARITO DUCK-WATCHER, think this fight is acceptable as a tune-up. Makes sense for him to fight a southpaw that he can probably beat. He just better not take him lightly, because ZAB will take him deeper than he wants. I hope they fight on the same card as Paul at the same location...

Let Margo and Paul both get tune-ups, and then get down to business and quit bullshittin'

If Margo goes through with this, I lost a ton of respect for him.

judah in no way should get this shot BUT, he would win rounds off of margo and could well make it a close fight. Judah made it very close thru 9 with Clottey and margo would be easier for zab to score points on than clottey (clottey's got great D and more speed than margo overall). of course zab would fade a bit and likely lose the fight in some fashion, but just saying i doubt this is a fight where margo "rips zabs head off".

Wouldn't be a bad fight but I wouldn't give Judah to much of a chance. He might be ahead on the scorecards and still get stopped late. Of course if Judah couldn't beat Baldomir how's he going to beat Margorito?

Zab's cut against Clottey won't be healed a 100%, even in sparring sessions Judah's going to bleed from that eye.

Yes, but while Judah has no upcoming fight, Margarito's site shows a fight in Mexico on Nov 15th. I wonder what that fight will be.

    Judah?!, why?
Clottey won that fight, there's no reason at all for a Judah fight.

Many, many moons ago Boxrec had David scheduled to fight Samson. Not only did the fight not go through but by all accounts the **** wasn't even discussed. David wound up fighting Goliath instead and he literally slew the *******. But this was like many, many moons ago, man, when Boxrec's schedule's was literally written in stone and they were using tally sheets made of Papyrus.
