Why do people still act like BoxRec jumping the gun on every rumored fight means something?

God i hope not this is the worst possible fight to make only way I'd be interested slightly is if Kahn brutally KO'D Alexander in 7 rounds or less

This better not happen. How does khan deserve a chance at the P4P king after his extremely disappointing performance against a well past his prime Julio Diaz, who was never anything great even when he was in his prime.

If that fight happens, khan will be away from the ring for over a year at that point, and his chin looks like it can't hold up too well against anyone with good counterpunching ability. Floyd is elite in that regard, and I'm sure a counter lead right could put Khan on the ground, and a counter hook could end up knocking him out.

Well for those that clamor about how FLoyd doesn't go for the KO when he has his opposition hurt won't be disappointed if he faces off with Amir, I'm positive Floyd will go for the kO the first moment he has Khan doing one of his classical chicken dances. It'll be an utter disappointment if Khan gets the fight, he has the fanbase/marketing attraction but he doesn't have the fighting resume to allow him the opportunity of facing Floyd.

Because we know the bout with DA shouldve solidified by now and most bouts come to be when listed. At least Khan can take a snapshot as this is as close as he's ever been. :yep

  7. Even the most featherfisted boxer besides Sven Ottke, Floyd Mayweather Jr., would knock this joke out .. boring fight .. hope it ends fast .. 3 rounds

So a Boxrec editor ie either bored and trolling, or has an insider source.

IF this becomes official, I will be setting aside two months pay to lump on Mayweather by KO the moment betting opens. (easily defraying the PPV cost)

This is brutally unfair to Alexander. Can someone explain to me why Khan is unable to box Alexander in December and then Mayweather in MAY? :blood

Because if he loses to DA as most expect, it would derail the fight against Mayweather.

BR has been right on more occasions then they were wrong when it deals with at least one British fighter.

I really hope they're wrong this time out, because Khan doesn't deserve a Floydweather shot at all. the guy isn't even a welter.
