Why is Boxrec not acknowledging on their upcoming fight schedule or individual fighter profiles the Haye Chisora fight? http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=155774&cat=boxer http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=381739&cat=boxer
There's been a lot of talk in the past about racist bias coming from boxrec. Perhaps this is more proof of that. An English company not promoting the biggest ever British fight? That's not on and it's not right.
Was Lewis-Bruno a PPV mega fight? No. Did the general public even know who Bruno was? No. You forget my good man that Haye is a crossover superstar. Whether on Ringside or Loose Woman he's the star. Haye calls the shots. Haye's the biggest sport icon in European sport at the moment. Messi doesn't count cause he's an Argie.
Because Boxrec does not recognise bouts which are unlicensed. If they recogised this they would have to start putting up shows from the EBF, IBA and all the other bodies which "licence" shows on "other circuit" and have an equal standing with the LBF (whose only modicum of credibility was the EBU link, which has now been severed).
Its bizarre for a commercial entity like boxrec to be so political and petty surely they could put an asterik/note against the event explaining the license issue. Its meant to be a credible source for boxing records and events surely this omission brings into question their credibility?
