Hasn't the BBBofC dropped its objection to its fighters going on the undercard? Does the BBBofC then allow its fighters to go on "unlicensed" events?

 

I didn't think they had been "booted out"? I thought they had just been threatened at this stage?

How is that different to the BBBofC?

Where do they get their authority from? Is it anything more than they have been around a long time? As I understand, they are just a company. That, and they have links with various other organizations. But in theory, anyone could set up a rival organization, and in time, develop the same sort of links.

 

Wakey, have you got a link to the EBU booting LBF out because I thought that that "line of attack" was dropped.

If BoxRec recognise other LBF bills and the WBA sanction their belt to the headline fight then I think BoxRec should list it.

BoxRec only recognised the LBF before they became a rogue body. Now they are treating them the same as the EBF, QBF etc, which is exactly what they are.

If Boxrec cover it then they have to cover everyone else sanctioning fights in this country and that's against their policy.

I like David Haye, but he goes looking for celebrities abit. Anybody can invite celebrities in training camp, or meet them out and get pictures. Floyd Mayweather is the only active boxer who is a cross over star. David Haye has 500,000 followers on twitter, Floyd Mayweather has 3 million followers, also probably Manny PAC aswell.

Nobody knows who Mayweather is in Britian. Even out of the blokes (and girls) who bought Hatton's PPV where "Money" was on it i would say only 5% of those even know who Mayweather is now. Hatton's fat bald lager lout fan base only cared for Ricky not the sport, not Mayweather. Mayweather fought on Primetime recently.

 

The fact that Haye feels he has to promote himself on a tacky daytime TV show proves that he's not a big star. Unless they have LeBron James and Cristiano Ronaldo booked for next week.
