one of the mods of boxrec said they would have the results put up but i wouldn't be surprised if they don't.
They put up the result of the first few fights on the undercard last night but then took them down which was disappointing

It makes you wonder how many other fights don't get put on because they are licensed by the 'wrong' sanctioning body.

Not having the fight listed beforehand is one thing [there is a line of argument that this acts as some sort of promotion] but not listing the result is pathetic.

Simply pathetic and calls their accuracy and integrity into question big time.

I disagreed with the fight and the circus which came with it.

But to not officially record it is just stupid.

Makes you wonder how many events have been shelved...

According to Boxrec, Chisora has never been stopped....

What crap, it was still sanctioned by an official body. Most of the German shows they record are sanctioned by Austrian or other bodies.

The most ridiculous part is that if they feel that strongly about it they have an icon that they use for fights which are 'unsanctioned' (it's a little yellow triangle with an exclamation mark). This fight wasn't unsanctioned, it was just sanctioned by a different commission and was, effectively, endorsed by two of the major global sanctioning bodies with their international titles being on the line. They have a precedent for listing genuinely unsanctioned fights, so to not list this one is really quite childish and makes them look a bit silly. The purpose of the site is to provide as comprehensive as possible a record of every boxer, it's not to take a political stand because they disagree with how a fight was made.

Boxrec is finished. Someone needs to create a rival; even if it initially only contains the top 20 current fighters in each division, it's instantly and irrefutably by far the more valuable, complete and creditable resource as long as it includes all of their fights.
