BOXREC has just confirmed its laughable status as ranking body by rating Floyd Mayweather as the #1 Pound for Pound and Welterweight champ, It is a big joke, indeed. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl What has Floyd done to deserve such a lofty rating? Fighting bloated lighweight Marquez whom he forced to go up at Welterweight and Mosley in a non-title match?

Its highly flawed...even boxrec's editors admit as much.

Isn't it just based on numbers rather than opinion?

That doesn't really make it a joke it's just a system that has flaws. Unlike magazines and councils who have agendas.

    Cazares is the superflyweight champion?

According to Boxrec Floyd has won more meaningful fights. The system shows you who is at what weight class and who has had more success in his/her career.

Mosley had a title, floyd didn't want it, therefore didn't pay the sanctioning fees to make it a title match. If he did floyd would be a 7 time world champion in 5 different weightclasses whilst remaining undefeated.

he was once a mandatory for barrera's super feather weight title which he earned by getting a controversial decision against randy suico in his hometown in africa (a fight which he went down 2x, got rocked several times)

he went down in the 1st round against barrera
