eeeh ITV 4 nice one! thought I was going to have to make my excuses and leave the wife for the evening but a quick nip to the corner shop for supplies and i'm sorted. According to the Hennessy website, he's only got this fight, and the Froch fight planned

 

It's a pity this fight was'nt made 12-18 Months ago when Thaxton was'nt on the slide.

It will still be worth watching, but I can't see it going the distance looking at Thaxton's recent outings and Murray's power, workrate etc.

Would've been far better 12 months - 2 years ago but still should be decent. Murray KO rnd 6-8 for me, Thaxton to retire.

 

Think they got a John o donnell commonwealth defence sometime in December mate, reckon that'll be the last.

 

the mezaache fight was surely european fight of the year, and thaxton was unlucky not to get a 1st round KO.

thaxton has made some dramatic comebacks, so it's good to see him get one last chance.
