One would guess steroids, though I have heard nothing and don't want to jump to conclusions.

The maghee figth is now a no contest.

I am curious- I know they test for steroids and coke, but do they even bother to test for marijuana? I would guess half of them would have no contests is they did.

Tyson's bout with Golota was changed to a NC because of marijuana.

Weed has been tested for yrs..... Eversince Aaron Pryor and that black bottle of Panama Lewis' caught by HBO down in Florida from 1982, commission testing has gone on in many of the big boxing states.......

Tim Spoon tested + for weed in his 1986 WBA title win over Tony Blubbs on HBO.... But Spoon was allowed to keep the belt........

Greg Haugen tested + for weed in his original 1991 WBO title fight with Camacho on HBO.........

Tyson tested + for weed against Golota in 2000.......

Well, Pac's the first one I can remember who's been accused before a fight.;)

Truth is, the standard testing does work. Great fighters like RJJ, Mosley, and Vargas are the most famous accounts. Boxing stars get busted as well is what I'm saying.

Weed is bull**** and petty............ For **** sakes, the USA Gov. needs to pull its head out from the nation's ass and see the light that millions of American's like sucking down some tasty / stoney weed with a cold beer during their "OFF" time....... But these ultra-conservatives and extreme religious freaks like to **** up everything by whining like babies........ Jesus....

Not exactly. A few years back, some of the biggest advocates for legalizing the drug were libertarian republicans. Don't know if there are any left, but I conversely seriously doubt that even most Dems would openly say that they were for legalization. Again, I don't follow the issue anymore. but when I did pay attention, it was one fo those party crossing issues.

In any event, a discussion for the lounge sometime while I drink gin and you...well...I am guessing...
