Boxrec says Williams-Martinez is at 158

It's a MW title--fight at 160 for christ sakes....

 

i thought so too but Yahoo and Ring both mentioned it as 158. There were discrepancies in the reported catchweight with Pac-Marg also til about the last week.

 

158 isn't bad.

Both guys could make 154 pretty easy still i'm sure.

They are both small middleweights.

 

I take it this fight is also for the lineal MW strap...Then it should be 160, if it was non-title it shouldn't matter...

Please fight World Title fights at the proper weight limits....Anything else just degrades the value of winning a world title...

We all get mad every time this happens because it's a title fight, but it keeps happening over and over.

Williams and Goosen demanded a catch weight of 158. Williams also demanded his personal judges again and his personal referee, venue and Goosen has control of everything and I mean everything. Yes, it so appears this will be a fixed fight to a certain degree. Martinez will have to knock Williams out to get a draw. Martinez was cheated the last time also.

 

Those sound like pretty unreasonable demands!
