    One guy I almost picked for my fantasy boxing team was a Jamaican who has been fighting out of Panama called Nicholas Walters;

Instead I chose Luis Cruz, the highly rated Peurto Rican co-promoted by Miguel Cotto and Top Rank, but he's not exactly unknown

    Qa'id Muhammad, age 22.

5'3 Bantam, decent amateur, 6-0 (5), inactive for a few years but recently won a UD.

True, but I think people are investing too much in 'sparring Pac'.

    Like Khan, for instance

    Nice thread :good

Anyone watched anything of Patrick Nielsen, 20 year old MW from Denmark dubbed the new Kessler (got the tattoos and everything!)

Southpaw, very strong jab and can rip a great shot to the body. Not sure about him but at 20 I think he looks very promising.

    Last fight against Joe Rea......

Nice find. Not sure he'll be world class, but European class certainly.

Shawn Estrada 12-0-0 (11 KO’s) - is an undefeated Mexican American professional boxer in the Super Middleweight division and was a U.S. Olympian at the 2008 Summer Olympic. Estrada had an outstanding amateur record of 110-7. He won the 2000 Junior Olympic Championship at age 14 and the 2001 Pan-American Games Gold Medal, beating the top Cuban and Puerto Rican boxers in his weight class and age bracket. However, Estrada’s junior amateur career ended abruptly after his brother was killed in a gang-related shooting. In 2007 he lost to Shawn Porter but won the Olympic qualification beating highly touted Danny Jacobs twice.

    Here's his last 2 fights:

    Firstly fantastic thread.

Flea saw that Muhammed on my searches in Bantam regions. Looks promising i must say.

Anyways i've seen a promising fighter from Mexico.

    18 Years Old
Won 15 of 15 fights. 14 by way of stoppage.

Fights in the Super Flyweight Division. For his age i'm impressed by his calmness in there he doesn't rush his work. Takes his time and likes to mix shots from head to body. Shows a few nice moves defensively at times as well as showing nice poise when finishing his work. Left hook to body is a lovely shot he throws.

Like that he hasn't just fed on Journeyman, he's fought a few guys with winning records early on and mixed his work up.

    Anyways here he is...
