I'd be fine with GGG in the top 10, but not in the top 3, the ones I highlighted is about the same where I'd have them in the list if I did.
1. Mayweather 2. Gonzalez 3. Wladimir 4. Kovalev 5. Ward 6. Rigondeaux 7. Pacquiao 8. Inoue 9. Ioka 10. Golovkin Next up: Estrada, Bradley, Uchiyama, Yamanaka, Alvarez
I'm pretty leary of some of boxrecs rankings. Has anyone seen the way boxrec wrote up the Orlando Salido vs Vasyl Lomachenko fight? Even though Salido won the fight he lost 105 points from his ranking and even though Lomachenko lost the fight he gained 106 points. Explain that? http://boxrec.com/bout/1861656 And before anyone says that Lomachenko was robbed, he wasn't, but even if he was Manny Pacquiao lost 329 points to Tim Bradley when he was robbed in their first fight. http://boxrec.com/bout/1656951 Wait a second, I found another one. Danny Garcia lost 84 points of rank to Mauricio Herrera after his robbery. Someone over at boxrec is doing some creative book keeping. http://boxrec.com/bout/1864355 It's pretty inconsistent. If you are going to fix the results of perceived robberies, why are some corrected against the official results and others are not? Herrera vs Benavidez they gave Benavidez more points than they took away from Herrera. http://boxrec.com/bout/1928727 Here's another corrected robbery: Paul Williams vs Erislandy Lara from 2011. Paul Williams wrongfully got the decision but Lara received the rankings points. http://boxrec.com/bout/1591909 But then why no correction to the Sergio Martinez vs Kermit Cintron bout that Martinez clearly won but then had a draw on the cards? Boxrec deducts rank from Martinez, gives it to Cintron. http://boxrec.com/bout/1372919
