The Ring did an article of journalists and boxing historians to rank their top 20 fighters and this was only post war, and Mayweather only made about half the lists in the teens. And that's only post war. So when you can include Sam Langford, Harry Greb, Mickey Walker, Benny Leonard, Jack Johnson, Tony Cazoneri, and Lou Ambers, I'm guessing most, would become 'hardly any'
