A) He was a middleweight who won the heavyweight championship

B) He defeated their #1 guy twice.

I can't understand for the life of me how Benny leonard is ranked so low on this list. He has a strong case as the greatest LW in the history of the sport. I personally have him inside my top 10.

The Mongoose was a great fighter, but I personally have him in my top 11-15 range.

The 5 greatest fighters IMO are Robisnon, Greb, Langford, Armstrong and Ali.

As far as Mayweather goes, that's shockingly high for him, and I'm a huge fan of his body of work. I have him inside my top 20 now for the things he's been able to accomplish. He was a sure fire 1st ballot Hof'er before he ever stepped into the 147 lb division almost 10 years ago. What he's done since than is what IMO has catapulted him inside the top 20.

4 lineal championships (would've been 2 lineal titles in the original 8 weightclasses,) simultaneous lineal champ in 2 divisions, 25-0 in title fights, and he has around 10 HOF scalps on his resume including a victory over the other great standout fighter of his generation.

Incredible career, but I don't believe it's top 10 worthy. Somewhere between 14-17 sounds about right to me.

I predicted Maidana would beat Broner but get robbed and I still strongly believed that plan was only changed at the 11th hour. Hence it taking about 10 minutes to read the cards and hence Broner storming off like he'd be robbed.
