Boxrec are normally on point.I guess they must be know something we dont plus there are rumours being bantered around forums that the match has been made! I hope its bloody true!!!!!

Not the first time, and not the last time people have said that about upcoming Hatton fights...

 

Some editors are a little more jumpy than others. I wouldn't take this as anything more than a rumor.

 

The winner of this fight will be the best fighter in the last ten years.

 

Do not see it happening, there is not enough intrest to make it pay for Mayweather.

I think Hatton's next big fight will be Mosley; Mayweather is only going fight for huge money, that means the only fight available to him is a de la Hoya rematch IMO.

 

He has to realize that's unreazonable kind of $$ to expect at this point. There's no interest in an Oscar rematch from anyone and Hatton is one of the next biggest names.

 

We are talking about a man who turned down a four fight $30Million contract because he considered it "slave wages"...

Boxrec always jumps the gun, so there is virtually no credibiliy whatsoever there. I hope the fight is made for later this year and I would love to see Ricky win. I would bet on Floyd winning a tough, but well-deserved decision.
