I guess this is like trying to rank the best basketball players in the world using strictly PER. Or fantasy points in football. Terrible formula, whatever it is.
Seeing as Canelo is meant to be banned atm, how can he be on the list? He's technically not an active fighter. Shows what that 'ban' really means....
So Canelo gets an unlikely draw and is actually ahead of Golovkin, correct me if I’m wrong here but pound for pound wasn’t about flying through multiple divisions was it?
Lol never saw the point in having any heavyweights inc in pound for pound as naturally the HW champion beats everyone anyway on account of his size, hence PFP for all the rest.
P4P is about skills and Canelo certainly out-skilled Golovkin. Using upper body movement to make your opponent miss vs high level opposition enhances one's P4P ranking.
I've been waiting for an opportunity to complain about BoxRec's champion page listing the WBA regular champions, rather than the super champions. http://boxrec.com/en/champions I don't like it. Although maybe it can be seen as a knock at how stupid the WBA's regular/super system is.
