Can Somebody Explain Or Have Any Insight As How Boxrec's P4p List Is Made ? I Know Is Cpu Generated But What Criteria Does The Program Use To Establish Their List? For Example, They Have Mijares @ #11, A Guy Who's Lost Three Times And His Ko Ratio Is Not Very Good. Then, They Have Cotto , A Guy In The Most Talented Division Of The Sport And A Kind Of Nice Resume, @ #19. Btw He Went Up A Notch Last Night (he Was 20). Mijares Is Just An Example But There Are Plenty More Absurdities... Anybody?

Just because he doesn't have a high ko ratio doesn't mean he should not be on the p4p list. Same with the losses. However, Cotto should be above i think, but their rankings are **** anyways so just ignore them.

    What an absurb post.

Calderon has the highest (cough cough) KO ratio in boxing doesn't he.

Boxing is not just about knocking the other guy out.

Calderon has 2 KO's in his last 11 or 12 fights. Should he not be in the top 10?

    Keep sense.

THE REASON I PUT THE KO RATIO IS BECAUSE I'VE READ SOMEWHERE BEFORE (CAN'T REMEMBER EXACTLY WHERE) THAT THE WAY THEY WIN IT INFLUENCES ON THEIR RANKINGS. EXAMPLE: RANKING OF OPPONENT GETS CERTAIN AMOUNT OF POINTS, WIN BY KO GETS MORE POINTS THAN A DECISION OR EVEN MORE THAN A SPLIT DECISION... AS I SAID B-4 I CAN'T REMEMBER IF IT WAS ANY OF THE ALPHABET ORG'S. RANKINGS, THE RING MAG, OR WHERE BUT I'M SURE I READ IT SOMEWHERE. IF ANYBODY KNOWS, ANY INSIGHT ABOUT THIS WOULD ALSO BE WELCOME... SO MUCH 4 YOUR ABSURD POST REPLY , U IGNORANT.

Btw I Definitely Agree That Calderon Should Be In The List, He's Better Than Ulises Solis, Who Is @ #25. I Think That Would Be A Good Match-up. U R Still An Ignorant, Though.

Cotto should be in the top ten on the p4p list.. No way he's ranked #19.. As for Calderon, I have him ranked at #9 on my list..

    I'm ignorant? Explain please.

I am not debating that the boxrec rankings are ridiculous, but who really cares? Its a joke of a sight and does more harm than good when you have new fans to the sport solely looking up records to make an argument.

Listen nubian, if you do not think Mijares is a top ten fighter then I suggest you re-evaluate your way of looking at things. Get a new perspective.

    Peace
