:good i do think we should have have them they add an extra order to the sport. after winning a title the only way to be the best man is to become the best fighter in the sport. but yeah people basing there views on P4p lists is stupid. you could take the whole top 10 write them on a bit of card each. throw them all in the air pick them up in any order...and you still have a good list
Boxrec have never had Cotto on a top 25 list, I'm pretty sure of that. For instance, looking at British fighters, I doubt anyone would have David Haye above either Hatton or Calzaghe - certainly in front of the likes of Witter and Woods, but not those two! Hopkins No.1? Probably the most ludicrous suggestion of the year.
Winky is still P4P above Hops and he beat Jermain. Ike looked pretty damn good against Forrest so he's far from ancient. But otherwise, another great post from you atsch
This is all a ploy to exaggerate a victory for calz IF he beats Bhop. Then all the brits can say that Calz has beat the #1 P4P fighter according to boxrec. Obviously NO ONE considers Bhop #1, Mayweather has held that crown for sometime now. Hell, I don't think that Bhop will even be in the top 3 P4P if he slaughters Calzaghe. Shameless, but business as usual for our allies....
1, 2, 3, i think might fly. Hopkins has beaten top guys after top guys and in my opinion has taken more risks than PBF. PBF is ok at 2. Vasquez has punched his way into 3 due to his 3 FOTY candidates in his last 3 fights. 4 should be Pac i think followed by JMM at 5. No clear winner in their fight so i cant drop JMM too much. Pavlik should be around 10 or so. Rafa should be a little past 10. Winky should not be top ten. He is far too inactive and his loss to Hopkins moves him down. Hatton should just retire or fight real competition. Mijares should be top 10. Where the hell is Cotto??
My god a conspiracy! I don't think that's anything at all to do with it, it's just done by computer thereore will never give an accurate reading to someones skill level in fact it ruins the whole concept of being p4p. I can't believe Cotto ain't in there.
