Maybe Shalom was annoyed he put on about 4 stone before the Eubank rematch and was in terrible condition for it.

 

Both Matchroom and Queensbury want to work with him. You're just salty cause he smashed your boy Eubank Jr with ease in the first fight.

That's a nerve. Jonas headlines on Sky, scores regular commentary gigs even on men's fights, and got away with murder on the scorecards in her last fight with no smell of a rematch since. But for Sky's obsession with women's boxing she would be a footnote on another promoter's cards. It's a shame as she seems a nice enough lass but needs to moderate her opinion of herself.

 

How on earth can Jonas not be happy with her treatment ffs? Sky and Boxxer treat her like an absolute queen

 

After losing to Obenauf, Jonas was lucky anyone gave her another chance, let's be honest

I've not heard the Saudi Official talk about women's boxing yet - I'm going to be kind and say it's not a religious or moral thing, he just doesn't rate it?

I’ve listened to the Smith interview and he says Shalom took him out for food after beating Eubank but didn’t after losing the rematch. Judging by the weight he put on in between those fights, Ben probably thought he’d had enough to eat.

 

Yeah I think that’s it. A lot of the other Saudi sportswashing activities are very ‘inclusive’ of women to show what a progressive (lol) society they are, so it is quite noticeable there hasn’t been any women’s fights on these big cards so far. Just don’t think ‘his excellency’ is that keen on it.

And women’s boxing doesn’t need the Saudi money anyway. All the fights that need to happen get made, there’s no real promotional divides and challenges etc. there is on the men’s side that the Saudi loot can magically solve.
