Boxxer Show: Caroline Dubois, Viddal Riley, Callum Simpson - September 30 // York Hall

I have met many American female boxing stars and Mayer is actually the most common of them all

Everyone else has way too much make up on their face and act like they are superstars.

 

This is a very uninspiring show to say the least

 

That's actually good to hear - she came across that way when I first heard of her and then doing Sky commentary etc, but I wasn't sure if it was an attempt at a clean-cut nice white girl image to get a Nike contract or something

 

Think they're trying to make the simpson fight for a belt too, if they manage to do that then that's 3 title fights. That's not too bad tbf.
Obviously there's more names to be added.

 

Terrible. Wouldn’t surprise me if Sky pulled the plug on Boxxer.

 

........if only they could get a 31 year old to headline their 'Breakthrough' card!

What a crazy idea to put actual young up and coming talent on a nextgen style card - Shalom has lost the plot!

 

It's a terrible card and the Matchroom show is far superior BUT I will be watching Boxxer because Dazn/Matchroom have made such a **** show of their production, scheduling and customer service I have cancelled Dazn and will not be re-subscribing for this or anything else on the horizon.

 

Macias is a tougher fight than Brown imo.
He just did 10 rds with Bazinyan and the commentators had it even after 8. He was giving Bazinyan hell in the 5th. Bazinyan is a massive prospect in the Smw division and highly ranked with each of the bodies.
Ĥes tough and will bring the fight to Simpson and has that Mexican style that's upset so many of our lads on recent years.

 

The matchroom card ain't anything special by any means but this boxxer card is utter trash.

 

A lot of fighters move thru the weights, so it's nothing new that this kid was a mw 3 fights ago.
Simpson isnt proven british evel yet.
Macias is a euro lvl /fringe world lvl gatekeeper imo. He took out Steven Butler in 5rds for the North American title only 2 years ago and as ive also stated previously, he gave bazinyan a tough fight in his last fight.
Bazinyan is highly rated and is trained by Mark Ramsey, beterbievs team.
This is a step up for simpson, let's see how he deals with it. I'm confident in him but this is no can or cherry pick.its a late replacement Mexican who's been round the block and can hold his own.

 

Free tickets doing the rounds for this one, which is pretty rare for York Hall shows. Sums this one up really.
