Kinsiona round 2.. (but a judge may give it to Appleyard, unfairly in my opinion. Dominated the round for about 2 minutes)
Round 3 Appleyard. What the hell are Smith and Froch watching? Appleyard landed far more of the damaging shots in that round. Kinsiona looked out on his feet at times and nearly did a funny dance.
Very enjoyable show so far And im told people like Molina are needed to build an up an comers record... Complete nonsense when there's talent out there willing to give it a go in all divisions
Appleyard very well deserved. It looked like Kinsiona was going to take it, with a decent start to the third round, but it all changed when he was nearly out on his feet. He was about two clean punches away from going down. Appleyard turned it around and it would've been scandalous if it went the other way. Shocking commentary from Smith and Froch there.
Very good scrap and we need more shows like this because whether you're a fan of the prizefighter format or not it gives a platform for guys like Appleyard you normally wouldn't see to get on Sky and have 50/50 fights. BTW that DJ is doing my head in, I can just about tolerate it playing in between rounds but after the fight ?? Nah too much
I'm not one for the X Factor sob stories but I feel it for these boxers when they are talking about their lives - I suppose it's just the contrast with the likes of Sky's usual lot... horrible *******s like Dereck Chisora and the rest getting paid ludicrous sums of money for being crap due to the PPV mugs and people who change their double glazing biannually
