Gibbs looked the most polished but he didn't win the bouts convincingly at all. Funny how they keep calling him a youngster. He's 28. Is it that young for a super lightweight?
That’s why Dodd didn’t get the decision. Not much money left to be made on him. They keep saying youngster he’s 28. Not nearly old but I’ve heard them say people at that age are getting old. They’re full of ****. How any judge could give Gibbs that second round in the final is beyond me.

Shame for this good night of boxing to be tarnished by Adam Smith and his partiality. Same old story. As soon as they were bigging up the boy that Appleyard was battering in that final round I knew it was the same old Sky. Lack of names on Boxxer mean that they will be looking to build up these types of guys like Gibb. He was a round up on the judges cards in every bout for that reason.
I think they wanted him to win because they think he’s the best looking haha. I genuinely think that’s all they’re thinking of. It’s just about marketing, there’s noT many big British stars These days compared to 5 years ago so they’re desperate.
