Ben BLM Shalom is like he’s a robot created in the image of what woke broadcasters would like a promoter to be. He doesn’t seem to have anything about him, zero charisma, just a dull man stating the obvious on a loop.
Most heavyweight fights are rotten at the moment, last night's was no better or worse than the AJ card as you say. The average will get dragged down when Hughie attempts another comeback. I'd quite like to see women's heavyweight boxing sometime, it can't be any worse.
Unpopular but can't disagree. Benn is now the villain where before it was probably 50-50, and Saturday's win will make a few people think Eubank can knock him over.

They have their faults but Boxxer have done well for their cruiserweights, especially CBS and Riakporhe (if the Goulamirian fight comes off).
Boxxer / Sky have also done a good job for Natasha Jonas. Everything has not worked optimally and there is room for improvement, but they are on the right track.
This content is protected So that confirms Riakporhe against Goulamirian this year for his WBA World Title. We think Okolie wants to rematch Billam-Smith, but Boxxer don’t have the money to make the rematch work for this year, so I wonder what happens there. Boxxer got lucky here getting Riakporhe the World Title shot which they didn’t have after pulling out of the Opetaia purse bids. I expect Riakporhe to win this one pretty comfortably. I think he beats Billam-Smith too but loses to Okolie.
FFS Matchroom put on a world title fight = ‘brilliant news, how can people complain about this’ Boxxer put on a world title fight = ‘they’ve got lucky here’
.......well well well, and the receding hairline pair were slating Shalom saying that Boxxer didn't have any other World Title fight lined up for Riakporhe after Opetaia fight didn't happen. Turns out that the truth merchant's were wrong again.
No, I think it’s a fantastic fight and great that another Brit gets the chance to win a world title (despite the fact he reportedly failed a drugs test which is why he was out for 2 years). My point was that Boxxer were lucky that the court case was ruled in favour of Goulamirian so that he didn’t have to face Tommy McCarthy. Read above. They weren’t wrong at the time. It still doesn’t change the fact that they didn’t have to wait until the day of the purse bid to pull out wasting Opetaia’s time. @Astro Yeah it was their plan but Goulamirian and McCarthy were signed to fight on August 26 already. There was no guarantee and they had to wait for the legal dispute to be resolved.
Let’s hope for a Riakporhe v CBS unification fight next year. Could do it at the O2 with a big push from Sky.
