Sky and Boxxer have been overpaying to continue in boxing since Matchroom moved away. Whether they're willing and able to keep it going is another story.
Chuck in the F1 and Darts, and I think this is spot on. Boxing isn't a needle mover for Sky, it's a "nice to have" rather than a "must have"
Sometime he'll realise you can be nice to other promoters and try to make fights, but you won't get it back.
That's a really good point. Ben Shalom finds himself in shark-infested waters and he must be careful not to get eaten.
That had a great Undercard though and Brook wasn't even on the card initially until Fury pulled out of the Wlad fight I believe.
Agree, undercard was good. Most people weren’t that bothered about Brook-Gavin. More interested in Mitchell, Selby and an up and coming AJ.
There have been several worse PPVs than that. In the context of BT Sport promoting and cashing out fighters, it made sense.
