Yeah I’d have no issue paying to see the two best fights in woman’s boxing Jim.

 

15 quid could be sorbet much better stuff beer for one maybe socks for next couple o years or pair o crocs

Zero chance Mayer and Baumgardner is an undercard fight in the UK. Unless Sky does a two-site deal with Top Rank and has it on two-for-one PPV perhaps (but it seems a bit early since Mayer is clearly not even in camp for that fight yet).

Apart from that you could well be right; no shortage of Sky female fighters to put on there. It'll be so cheap they might actually pay Shields and Marshall decent money to headline.

 

There will be a title fight for men on this Boxxer event.

Oh it is happening on Sky. They paid Alicia mental money via top rank to get the fight contractually then moved it to the UK with Sky. Top rank has zero interest in womens boxing and they are paying Alicia 5x her biggest purse to fight Meyer. Next thing you know it’s on Sky.

It’s either Sky spending some to make some on non PPV. Need to invest the AJ marketing budget. if it’s PPV then mr Shalom is either showing mass naivety or he’s in big trouble at Sky it does not do 6k tickets or more than 15k PPV buys.


This card has to be and will be on normal Sky. They have the budget and are lacking marquee events. A card like this lees them well on track

 

They make it more historic with male ring card girls.
