Here he is in a boxing match. Honestly he's not that bad, he has the fundamentals and the amazing reflexes. I do think he could have become a champion if his chin holds up and if he can do this for 12 rounds.

 

A) The guy he's fighting is an amateur that's new to the sport.

B) He gets rocked hard at 9 minutes in. Without headgear, lights out.

C) He tries to be Roy Jones without bein Roy Jones. It's not even workin out for Roy Jones anymore, so how will it work out for Anderson Silva who isn't close to bein the same athlete as Roy.

 

He is no where close to Kelly Pavlik's skill level. Kelly would KO him within 5 rounds.

He got his ass KO'd when he tried boxing. Then he ran over to MMA. Nothing impressive about this Silva guy, he would be a journeyman in boxing.

 

If he was that great he'd be in boxing making some real money instead of making peanuts in MMA.

Yup, that explains it. That's why he ditched making multi millions in boxing for human chicken fighting. I hear he's a tap-out specialist, nut sack grabbing is his finisher.

Pavlik would behead that can and all his fans from a single punch in the first round. If he could beat the middleweight champion he wouldn't have lost by KO in the first round in his 2nd professional fight against tune up opposition. Fact is, in boxing this garbage can is lesser than a can so he went to human chicken fighting to grab nuts and roll on the floor and as expected he made it far enough to main event. Boxing is a sport, not a glorified street fight appreciated by a group of drunkies. A WWE and NFL reject Brock Lesnar is their main man, discussion OVER.
