Let me see, Hopkins looses his first fight to a guy who was 0-0-0 yet improves his boxing skills to the point that he becomes one of the greatest MW champs ever and p4p king. Silva looses his first fight to a guy who was then 10-2 and he's not capable of improving his boxing skills to the point that he could someday beat a top 40 boxer...? wow.
Let it go. You'll sooner get an invalid to run than an idiot to understand. I don't know why I ever get into these things.
None of those MMA guys can beat a top boxer. It will take less than a round for a boxer to ko an MMA fighter...
I saw on Bully Beatdowns (MTV) that an MMA boxer got caught and 8 counted by the bully lol... A bully can't get lucky against a top of the line boxer in his prime.
is anyone watching this clown now? biggest piece of garbage fight ever. it's like haye-valuev, but with even less punches.
You're an MMA kid, so I'll forgive, you but you clearly don't understand boxing. Silva is clearly open for left hooks when he switches to orthadox stance. He tries to be like Roy Jones, who also exhibits bad technique, without being close to the athlete Roy Jones is, and without Jones' experience. He also has a tendency to get off balance when he punches, he does a lot of wasted movement, and against Pavlik, he would be stalked down and knocked out somewhere before the 5th round as Pavlik is the middleweight champion, and Silva has only had two fights Which is another thing you conviently overlooked. In that clip, he's sparring with a BEGGINER. Not a beggining pro, but a beggining amateur fighter, who is askin his trainer for instructions while he's sparring, yet Anderson still managesto get rocked hard 9 minutes in. If you had any idea about boxing, you probably would be idolizing to scared men that go straight to the ground because they don't want to get hit. But you don't, so keep this type of bull**** in the MMA forum because you have no idea what you're talking about. Anderson is great at MMA, but this is boxing, and as it stands he wouldn't get anywhere. He would need a lot of experience. To state that he would beat the current middleweight champion is asinine. Also show me some proof of Roach saying he only goes 30% which is bull**** anyway.
That was without doubt the DUMBEST thing I ever read in these forums. I think my IQ went down after reading that post.
Anderson makes his living beating up grapplers and cans like Forest for a reason. He would get dominated in boxing or K-1.
