Boycott this Garbage!!!

Well, like you said, fair enough. If that's how you feel about it, cool. While Walker - Schmeling and Tyson - Douglas at least had some significance, I can't even give this fight that. It's on Williams - Tyson territory (didn't care I didn't buy it as IMHO it meant nothing). If DLH wins he beat a guy half his size in his first fight 12 pounds over a weight he hadn't even proven he was legit at. If Pac wins he beat a badly faded old guy twice his size with nothing on the line.

I'd be shelling out that money strictly for a result because in my opinion, regardless of who wins, it will mean nothing.

 

I can't tell you the particulars of the fight, that much you're right about. But the assessment I just gave you, is perfectly reasonable and doesn't hinge on how close the fight is. It's why I consider the fight to be such a farce. Neither fighter stands to gain much and nothing is on the line. It's all about the money, ala Trinidad - Jones.

I'm not a fan of this fight, was against it from the beginning, but I'm gonna watch it. Just for that chance that something amazing might happen. Probably a trainwreck waiting to happen.

 

C'mon guys!atsch Look...DLH is past it, you know he knows and everyone else does. PAC is PRIME! Now stay with me. PAC is also the #1 P4P fighter.

This fight stepping WAAAAAY up in weight to fight a guy who use to be #1 P4P and still is a vialbe threat to much of the the fighters at 147 and 154 will be a GREAT measuring stick to see just how good PAC is or if he needs to stay in the lower weight classes to take advantage of those outstanding natural talents that he seems to be able to beat guys far superior than he in the skills department.

This fight may actually be more thrilling and exciting than a fight with MArg vs DLH. I think there are a lot of HATERS that want DLH to get KO'd on his last fight out, which is why all these people are calling DLH a chicken, took the easy way out ect. ect. ect.

I mean...call him what you want but he's faught the best, beat the best and lost to the best....at least he took on the tough and elite level guys and have given boxing and its fans a lot of memorable fights. he's retiring..he wants to go out with a win and this is the most winnable fight...however....many may be underestimating the smaller guy who has been dominating the best fighters from 106 to 135. Don't be surprised if PAC wins....Even though I will be if PAC does pull it off somehow.

 

I won't be buying it or going to a sports bar either. Not to mention the undercards will suck as well.

 

OK, I'll call him the Golden Fishnets fot the rest of time, via the contraversial photos. He beat some great guys, but not necessarily "the best"

This fight is the equivalent of RJJ adding 25 pounds to take on Valuev.

 

This fight will make HUGE amounts of money, I won't be surprised if it beats DLH/Mayweather as well. Your boycotting will do nothing.
