Vitali got caught, got his punishment, and IMO, that should be the end of it. Getting caught once is bad, but excusable I guess, and shouldn't be career threatening.

Getting caught twice - eg Toney - should rub you out for good.

 

you dont take pain killers to cure an injury einstein. my sister has a muscle degenerative disorder and she is injected or given pills for it. go read and learn before posting bs.

What no A$$hole Margacheato? that guy should be banned for life and if he does fight again I will boycott his fights and will not pay for any top rank cards for promoting him. As for roids it is a whole different category. The punishment for the use of roids needs to be tightened up along with better testing. Random blood and urine testing should be the norm.

 

Vitali had an injury from kickboxing, had treatment with steroid. Vitali that it was a mistake to have gone to a regular MD instead of a sports medicine specialist, this was in amateurs. Vitali had never tested positive for anything. Vitali is exciting fighter, Void is void.

Yeah. vitlay was caught and thrown off the Olympic team.

Mosley was never caught, but has since admitted using PED's. I don't think Marion Jones was ever caught either. Does that mean she was clean?

 

Sometimes drug testing is harsh.

Neither of these men cheated, nor got any performance enhancement from the drugs in their bodies, and were guilty of making honest mistakes. However they were banned just the same.

That was my understanding too. I think a lot of these instances get blown out of proportion. A banned substance isn't necessarily some performance enhancing drug that makes you superhuman. Marijuana is a banned substance by athletic commissions but if anything, I would want my opponent to be stoned and passive.

 

Olympic games are not some minor competition, where it is okay to cheat.
It is one of the most important competitions of boxers career.


Vitali isn’t only one who has said he used them for injury, tons of athletes has claim that after getting caught.
