What's the reason for announcing shows well before opponents are confirmed? Is it because they think they can sell tickets on the names alone regardless of the opponents?

 

I think he needs rounds as opposed to a test. What’s his tank like? He’s had 9 rounds in his professional career. He needs to fight a proper heavyweight. A tough one who will give him rounds who isn’t going to hurt him too much.

To be fair, even Hearn has been doing that alot recently particularly with the Nxgen stuff- sometimes up to the week of the fight the Name fighter is still facing TBA

I don’t really care about the initial tba’s for a card like this as I know Yarde & Dubious are not going to be in with world class opponents as their both learning.

However, we should know what’s happening by now - otherwise the credibility of the show suffers.

Like I say, hope frank sorts it out quickly

 

All Eddie Hearn’s big cards have opponents except for Khan. You can’t really compare NXTGEN shows to Frank’s main show.

 

Who else is on the Khan bill?

It’s not just nxgen shows with Hearn - I just used that as an example. Look at some of Hearns fcuk ups with fighters like Cordina for the last AJ card, no opponent until the last minute but then he didn’t even get to fight despite being on in his home town and doing tickets. I think the same has happpned with Okolie a few times...infact do Buatsi and Kelly have opponents yet for Feb 3 ( I haven’t checked so maybe I will have egg on my face shortly)

Really disappointed in this. None are step ups what so ever. Yarde's and Dubois' are side-steps form last opp. Skeete is much better than this and so is Barrett. Let down by Warren here

Cordina did get to fight. So you’ve already got egg on your face. It just werent televised. He was on just before AJ.

The Kahn show is 3 1/2 months away so no it hasn’t been fully announced yet. The frank Warren card 3 1/2 weeks away has only just been announced this second.

 

Tony Averlant who lost to the bum Yarde KO’d In 4 rounds last time out.

DL Jones who got dropped and drew with Darch who Dubois KO’d In 2 last time our.

And it wouldn’t be a Frank Warren show if it didn’t have a token Hungarian bin man on it facing Skeete!

What a load of shite that card is.

 

BT Sport would get higher ratings screening The Untouchables with Sean Connery than this card.

 

This is a very dissapointing list of opponents. I get the impression, a lot of things may have gone wrong behind the scenes. However, it’s not great stuff really.
