Man, that was some nasty shot! Bidenko had both gloves up but the chin wasn't covered 100%. Boystov saw the room and placed that quick, short left hook PERFECTLY. What a great shot!

Boystov has big potential, but I think someone like Freddy Roach, who's very good at controlled aggression, would be better for him. Sdunek can make the most exciting prospect fight boring.

Big win for Boystov. Since Boystov is so young, he will likely be a world title belt holder in the next 5 years or so, after the K-bros retire.

Boystov is the best under 25 prospect in the divison.

Is he better than Chagaev, Povetkin, or Ibragimov?

    I dunno.

Boystov needs a win against a ranked veteran like Maskaev

    Heavyweight Champion?That's laughable.
    Beltholder?That's more realistic.

    Exactly.

I've not seen but as few short bits of Boystev on Youtube, and he looked pretty impressive............but if he's got impressive power and can take his man out, I am interested in seeing him progress.

These heavies like Povetkin, Chambers, and those other power lacking (but skilled) fighters just don't create anticipation and excitement like a power punching fighter does, who can drop someone with one shot.:good Wlad dropping Calvin Brock.........THAT is power.

    GO, Boystev.

Did you see the fight? It was not really impressive. Boitsov did his job pretty well but it was uneventful until 6th round when Bidenko faded and took that big right uppercut, then barrage of punches and then killing left hook. Boitsov showed he can punch but its no surprise in heavies. Sure he is promising guy but he needs improvements especially in workrate. His stamina is still under the question and if he fights Povetkin now I see him smashed out and faded in late rounds. I agree he is nice to watch but he is small and needs some two more years of experience

It was very impressive. Bidenko is very durable. Not easy to KO at all.
