Thanks to LeftHookTommy for letting me know in the other thread, but I found the article where he says that after his two surgeries, he is punching pain free in his right hand. We are going to see an all new fighter, here. “I am overjoyed that the long period of suffering is over, and that I can again do what I want to do most,” said the 25-year-old understudy of trainer Artur Grigorian. Even around Easter he will take no break in training. I am hot to to get in top form as fast as possible to be for my next fight. I plan to have a big year.” Its time to give the heavies a chance. There are lots of good prospects and contenders out there: Helenius, Glaskov, Pulev, Boystsov, Stiverne, Ya Ya Lawrence, Price and the winner of Fury-Chisora are all on the fast track. Dimentrenko and Pineta are back, Povetkin has to take a shot at some point, and there are all kinds of prospects not as far along including Towers, Dallas, Wilder, Hammer, Joe Hanks, Darrell Madison, Abdulsalamov,Ustinov, Gerber, Wallisch, Teper, Zimnoch, Pala, Wach and Warcyk. The Klit-Klit-Haye-Adamek cycle is going to play out, Vitaly will probaly sadly retire, and then Wladdy (by my prediction) will have this whole new genration in general much more talented than the last.
He beat Lance Whitiker and Jason Estrada, and came from being a journeyman with two losses to beinga contender. Kind of a feel good Rocky story.
when will he be fighting again and hopefully it s a ranked fighter. He needs to step up. I think Boystov is the future of HW boxing . The guy is a ****ing beast 28-0 I think and is only 24-25 years old
How is he a beast if he hasn't beaten anyone of note? Going the distance with Vinny Maddalone and a bunch of other no hopers, shouldn't impress anyone either. I don't want to hate on the guy cause he's still young, but people's appraisal of fighters should be proportional to their resumes, otherwise its just pie in the sky. Boytsov has a LOT of proving to do.
Ko'd 28 cans :good its time to step up.. At the moment there is nothing so "impressive". (damn, lzolnier already mentioned that)
Who gives a ****. Boystov fights like he's got a stick shoved all the way up his ass to his head. He looks like a weightlifter. I wouldn't be surprised if an MMA fighter could beat this guy. It's ****ing pathetic that you guys think this guy is elite. Wow... You're just setting **** up. MMA fighter beats the **** outta top boxer. Those are the headlines. What a dreadful division. At least there are 3 decent fighters that I can't envision getting beat up by MMA fighters.
This guy is NOT the future. I mean if he is, then it's a TERRIBLE division. He has NO SKILLS. He's just brute strength. He doesn't move his head, he's easy as hell to hit, and his speed is average. This guy is a joke. An MMA fighter could seriously beat this dude. I mean, it's 50/50.
It's not racist at all. Klitschkos would beat the **** outta any MMA fighter. They wouldn't even get CLOSE to the Klitschkos. It would be a STRAIGHT CLOWNING. They actually have skills. Sure they are hard punchers and in Wlad's case he has speed, but that's not why they win fights. They win because they are skilled fighters with intelligent game plans. Boystov is just a weightroom strong man that fights like a ****ing stiff and has the ring IQ of the worst dude in the special olympics. He's just strong. I mean damn kid, use your ****in brain. DO you know ANYTHING about actual boxing or is it YOU that's racist considering you say that every non American boxer is elite, OH EXCEPT HAYE.
