Denis has rescheduled the bout, he won't be ready to fight then.

    Maybe August 2019.

    Whoops...Mansour encountered some recidivism troubles.

2024 (maybe 2022 pending good behavior)

****, Denis broke a hip. Maybe next year?

Hang on, Amir! I know you're in a hurry to retire and become HOF eligible before you turn 65...but have a little patience!

LOL this guy has been pro for close to a decade and hasn't gone anywhere near a live body. And to think that there are people pissing and moaning about a guy like Wilder taking too long to step up.

Boytsov is a lazy SOB. He ougth to STFU and fight a live body in Helenius, Charr, Fury, heck even Dimitrenko would be a huge step up for him.

That's BS. Too small? That's bull****. So Mike Tyson would be too small today? No. It's about skills nothing more. If you dont have skill you dont get far.
Boytsov has no head movement,no defense. Hasnt been tested in 9 years as a pro.

American trainer? See they know! The European heavyweights know they can only get so much from the European style of fighting (stiff, upright)

If someone teaches Boytsov some head movement...hire Kevin Rooney!

    I disagree.

Boytsov is probably as ready as he'll ever be, for whatever that's worth.

With the right management, he could / should jump right into the fire, and start facing top-20 opponents. He will either prosper, or get retired:

His big problems, besides Universum, are 1: He isn't very fast, 2: Lack of head movement. and 3: He rarely seems to care about fighting, even when in the ring.

Problem #1 isn't going to improve with time. He'll just get slower.
Problems #2 & 3 will ONLY improve (if it does) by facing serious opponents.

Boytsov has everything else: 1-punch KO power in both hands, excellent balance, decent (though slowish) footwork, and pretty good ring smarts.
    ---------

    So, it's now or never.

I doubt he'll ever be more than a top gatekeeper for the elite fighters like Price, but he could definitely make the division more exciting.

    - And I'm DYING to know why he doesn't want to sign with K2.

He thinks GBP will do more for his career? Really? Ask Deontay Wilder about that one. I think Oscar must be spending all his time donning fishnet stockings and admiring himself in the mirror, instead of going to meetings and making deals.

this surprised me too, maybe he's actually aiming for Wlad or Vitali and doesn't want to fight his stablemates? :think

he's been around a while, I know he's had injury problems, but he's not going to get better the way he's been going, he should of left Universum when he had the chance
